One of the fond memories of my childhood (during the 60s and 70s) were the trips my brother and I made with my grandmother to fun destinations around Northeast Iowa. Along the way, we saw many of the old windmills still in working order. Grandma would give us each a nickel every time we spotted a windmill rising above the corn fields in rural Iowa .
I love how this looks and wonder what the words mean on one blade...the drawing is excellent!
